NEWS RELEASE – Scion Advisors expands into Northwest to address private business owners’ growth and exit needs.


July 2015 – Scion Advisors’ Founder and Managing Director, Deborah Steinthal, announced today that she recently moved to the Seattle area from Napa Valley to expand the reach of her boutique strategy advisory firm across the Northwest.

With a track record and proven approach to positioning businesses for the next stage – growth or succession/exit, Steinthal has spent more than a decade driving profitable growth for over 130 owners of small/mid-sized food and alcoholic beverage companies.

Scion Advisors has also added a new member to the practice: Teresa Muehlenkamp, a senior strategic marketing advisor. Muehlenkamp is a seasoned marketer with 20 years of experience working for high profile consumer brands, previously holding marketing leadership positions for MOD Pizza, Panera Bread and Tully’s Coffee. Says Muehlenkamp, “We are seeing an explosion in innovation and new concepts. The online retail sales channel is driving double-digit growth, and boundaries between bricks and mortar and online stores are fading – enabling more meaningful online shopping experiences.
